We also want editorials on music, recommendation lists, fun facts, humorous jokes and things about music. Anything about music, we want to know. Anything you can think of that involves music, let us know what you want to see on here and we'll see if we can make it happen.

We are also looking for editors, photographers, graphic designers, journalists, specialists of any kind that will benefit the running of this blog site.

Here are a few things we are looking for in terms of what we want in your reviews and profiles:

With Profiles:
Include a biography (for artists/band profiles) or what this is about (for job profiles), discography of albums or singles (artists/band), similar stuff (jobs or artists depending on profile), where to find more information, and how did it start up.

With Reviews:
We are asking for simple things to be answered in a review. We want to know what are the positives and/or negatives of what you are reviewing and why. Would you recommend it to anyone? What kind of rating would you give it from excellent to bad? Are there similar things to what you are reviewing? * For Album or Single reviews, please name what songs are good, bad or anything in between and why.

*Please remember to also send photos along with your profile or reviews, but do not send in an attachment.

To submit to the site, send an email to song.kissd@gmail.com.

Please write the topic you are inquiring about in the subject line.

All text should be written in the body of the email. No attachments will be accepted and will be deleted.

There is only one rule in terms of this site and submitting. Please do not submit material that promotes intolerance of any race, religion, gender, sexual orientation and things of that nature. Respect is the key to harmony. This does not mean we do not want something that may seem controversial. We just don't want something that is going to discriminate against anyone or anything. Otherwise, please let the music inspire you to submit to this site.

Whether you are in music in anyway or are just a music lover, we want to hear from you!

Please check the site often for updates.

Today is a new day...

I have been trying to make this into a community blog for a while. A blog that everyone can contribute to so that we can all share in this wonderful thing called music. Because music is not just about what's on your iPod. Music has to be made, written, taught, sung, danced, lived. I guess I still have the dream, but being the owner of this blog and an aspiring music critic, I should be writing blogs on here too. Maybe this will encourage others to contribute. Who knows...I know I don't and I have been trying to find out.

I have several ideas for Songkiss'd. There is a MySpace and today, I made a Twitter account for quick music reviews. I think that this is a dandy idea. You can see updates to the Twitter account at the sidebar.

So as the first post of Songkiss'd, what is this about? Nothing truly musical. Just my thoughts on what I want Songkiss'd to be. I hope that people will start paying attention to this little blog and want to contribute. Of course if you do, this is out of your own free will. For your love of music or as your exposure as a writer. I am just a college student with a vision, so I hope you know there will be no compensation. I wish there could be. Maybe if I can turn this into a full-fledged webzine one day, maybe I could.

Interesting fact: The color white makes sound bounce off walls easily, creating a loud echo.

This is someone I have always remembered from my physics of sound class.
